Live music continues to grab more of the spotlight as the local music scene is often supplemented by regional and touring artists. Music and entertainment opportunities in West Plains span a wide range – from jazz concerts and choral performances to holiday-season shows and bluegrass festivals. Free live music events can often be found in our regular “Sounds Downtown” music series and at other larger festivals. The West Plains Civic Center hosts other entertainment opportunities, such as comedy shows, a yearly cosplay and gaming convention and other performances and expos.
