West Plains is home to a growing local art scene, with frequent rotating exhibits sponsored by the West Plains Council on the Arts on the mezzanine of the West Plains Civic Center, at the West Plains Public Library, and other venues. There’s also a dedicated gallery space at The Frame Shop & Gallery, plus community-oriented venues such as The Yellow House Community Arts Center which help give local and regional artists a visible platform. The Harlin Museum hosts multiple shows throughout the year, both competitive and non-competitive, which are open to artists throughout the region.
