Big Spring is located down a small path in the Mark Twain National Forest. It flows from beneath a large pile of sandstone blocks at the base of a hill and flows into Spring Creek.

Take Highway 63 north and turn left on Hwy 14. In 13.5 miles, turn right on County Road 292. In 1 mile, there is a small parking area at white corner posts.
